Lib techs pow nas or their new FFF's??

The FFF's and Pow's are completely different skis. You'll need to determine what you are looking for in a powder ski.

For instance, the FFF's have a flex specified by Lib Tech to be a "6" at the 185cm length, while the Pow's have a flex of "7.5" at the 191cm length. Do you want a softer pow ski, or something stiffer that will be more supportive for your size?

Also, take into consideration both the length of the skis and the sidecut (turning radius.) The FFF's have a 16.5 meter sidecut at the 185cm length, while the Pow's have an 18 meter sidecut at the 191cm length. Essentially this means the FFF's will want to turn more than the Pow's; combined with the shorter length, they won't offer as much stability as the Pow's will for someone your height/size.

This isn't to say either ski won't work for you, but should give you something to thing about during your decision making.

I've owned a few pairs of Lib skis in the past and really would like to try out the FFF's, I just wish they offered a 191cm or so length and a slightly stiffer flex, but that's just me.

I don't really know much from a technical standpoint or anything, but I skied on some NAS Pows with Recurve a couple winters ago when I was in Beaver Creek/Vail and I liked them. They carved extremely well on the groomers and floated pretty nice, but the tips seemed really low if that makes any sense. I felt like they kept wanting to nosedive in deeper snow. Maybe I just suck at skiing pow since I'm from Michigan and don't ski it all that often, but who knows. In my limited experience they were fun skis. I can't speak for the FFF.

I was in the same exact boat as you and ended up with the 185 FF5's. Just got done my first day on them and they fucking rock. I'm very happy with my decision. I'm 5'10", 210 and ski Jackson everyday. Compared to the pow's, they are def better in pow and although they do have rocker, Lib doesn't over do it. Didn't rip too many groomers but they still hold an edge very well for a ski it's size and a little less grabby than the full blown magna-traction on the pow's. Very quick edge to edge and turn on a dime. Wasn't sure about the tapered shape but after a few runs I really got use to them and everything clicked. I think the 185's are plenty enough ski and at no point did I want more ski. Compared to the pow's, they are more playful and more soft snow oriented. They weight almost a pound less and are much easier to move around in tight situations. Hope that helps and if you have any questions I'd be more than happy to answer them.

As we know FFF 12/13 manufactured in two sizes: 175 and 185cm

My weight is 88kg, height is 176cm, I am a beginner in skis, and I purchase a FFF in 175cm size.

This size will be good for me or I made a little mistake and this skis is a little short to me?
