The bike i'm looking into getting is a 75-78 CB 550 4-cylinder, like the last one in the o.g. post. I'm going to spend like 2 grand ish on it and build all the parts myself. It'll be a sweet mode of transportation and a fun/challenging project.

Just go on motorcycles/craigslist and search bikes in the $1000-$3000 price range and do a lot of research to see what suits your fancy!

Been around motorcycles my whole life, restoring them with my dad for as long as I can remember. There is something about vintage motorcycles. Everybody here go to bikeexif.com? Such a dope site. Need to check out deus machines too, and wrenchmonkees. The list goes on. Does anybody here get bikecraft magazine? AH I don't get to talk about this shit very much bein away from home.

Not vintage, but definitely my favorite motorcycle as of now and sort of has that cafe racer look to it.

One question. Most of the ones Im seeing dont have blinkers, mirrors, ect. I looked into it and you cant have a street legal bike with out those things. So are most of those just for show? or are there low profile lights and mirrors you can buy so your bikes legal? I like the look of these but I wouldn't want tickets just so I can get the look I want.

Hipsters ruined all older cb's and what could be done with then, you were able to get a 70 cb500 for under 1250, now good luck getting one under 4500, still one of my favorite bikes

I have two old honda trail bikes from the 70's, the first one I got is was a 71 CT70. They make great pit bikes and camground cruisers and can even be registered to be street legal. Bitches love em too.

(this one isnt mine, but the same bike)
