Ski Lease Experiences/Nightmares?

Hello all. I'm writing an article about ski leases for those who don't know much about them. If any of you out there have experience with them could you please share any advice you would have for a first timer thinking about getting into one. Also if you could share positive experiences with them (anyone meet the love of your life through this) or horror stories.

Ski leases are definitely a good way for first timers and people who don't ski a lot. For new people its a way to try out a sport without breaking the bank. Why go out and spend $1000 on gear for a sport you may or may not when you can lease it for a whole season for a fraction of the price. As for horror stories, at least at the shop i work at you get a brand new pair of skis that suit you, then you get them for a year, return them and you sell them. If they're treated right there's not many problems that can be run into.

Not smart if you'd like to send it outside cruising groomers. You break those suckers you buy um.

Hello. I should have been more clear. I meant to ask about ski leases for housing/lodging. For those of you that don't know about them, that's what this article is being written for. For those of you that have been part of one before, I'd love to have your thoughts and experiences with them. Thanks.
