there is another one that i was sure would be on that list before i read it, but it wasnt.

Its called a Sturgeon, and there are literally found in the Hudson River, which runs up from NYC up through the Adirondack Mountains. they have been sighted where i live in Albany which is pretty freaky

someone caught a sturgeon at my cottage when i was little. it was ~5 feet long... that picture you posted doesnt look like any sort of sturgeon i have ever seen either. that thing looks like a shark. they arent that big of a deal though, not like fucking SNAKEFISH

snakefish can walk from lake to lake and eat people. apparently they can survive out of water for up to 3 days and are viscious and carniverous and just fsu wherever they slither. these ones cames from asia, so thanks again asia.

I was with my uncle out on the rainy river when he had a 4 footer on. Took him a half hour to land it but it didn't throw our boat around. It would turn the boat but wouldn't tip it or anything.
