Anybody else think beards are disgusting?

I feel like there's this whole beard culture that just seems gross to me. Like how do you keep your face clean when it's covered with hair? Do you shampoo your fucking face? Shits gross sorry to rant

Actually, yes. I tend to not let mine get longer than 1cm so it never gets too bushy, but it has never got gross.

Doesn't that make your face feel all greasy though? Shampoo has like oil and moisturizers in it, I would feel gross if I shampood my face

I just shaved my beard into a mustache. I liked it a lot. The only negative is, you have to have a lot of confidence if you want to wear one because a bushy man beard can be intimidating to ladies and other guys who can't grow big ol beards. Another negative is when you blow your nose sometimes the snot gets in your stache. Other than that there is no downsides to a beard. They make you look older, they make you look way fucking cooler, and you can go up to guys who can't grow them and ask them whats wrong with them and why they aren't as manly as you... Also being one of the smallest guys in my group of friends it's incredibly hilarious that I can grow the most full and fantastic beard.

My mustache/ sideburn combo right now is a nice change of pace however.

currently i have a nice bushy beard and it is wonderful, it keeps me warm on the hill and makes me look like a sophisticated man, yes there are drawbacks, women can find them off-putting, but it does help you find girls that can see past your looks, to answer about how to keep it clean, baby shampoo works wonders, nice and soft

Beards are dope......letting mine grow until the end of december. Calling it Decembeard. Also if you want to grow a beard but your wiz doesn't dig it....just grow it anyways, bitch ill get used to it. My girl just hates it when i have a babyface now.

My Uncle hasn't shaved his beard since the 70s. It is epic.

Also, going grey as he is in his late 50s.

I'm still growing my beard from October. It's getting a bit out of control and probably could benefit from a good trim, but I just keep on letting it do its thing.

Shampoo does wonders for a beard though. It eliminates the dry skin and itchiness that can come from having a shaggy beard for long periods of time.

I've got curly hair and tried doing the long beard thing last fall. Didn't like it, I just looked like a mess.

Now I just keep short trimmed scruff all the time. I think within the last year I was cleanly shaven only 3 times. Facial hair for the win if you take care of it and do it right.
