I am doing a little planning ahead for next summer and trying to figure out where I want to live. I currently live in Sugarhouse, and I think I will most likely be working in Ogden. I don't want to make that commute everyday. I still want to ski in the Cottonwood canyons and be able to hang out in SLC without too much hassle. I am looking at areas to live in between SLC and Ogden, but I don't know a lot about the areas. Any tips in places to check out, or places to avoid?
its pretty much live in a shitty area, but closer to work and farther from skiing or live in a cool area, farther from work but closer to skiing. Just live close to the freeway, it will make the difference.
Yeahhh... just deal with the commute. My first job out of college I made the mistake of living near the office instead of where the nightlife/my friends/etc was and I was miserable. Short hop to the office but it was older family/chain restaurant hell when I was home.
Thanks for the replies. That is pretty much the answer I have been hearing from most people. I guess I will just have to see how it goes. I will probably stay where I am and see how commuting goes. I can always give moving a shot and if it sucks head back to SLC.
