I went on a road trip to see family in Iowa and being a noob driver I wasn't very good about looking at something off the road and keeping straight. So anyways, I was on 1-80 and near Lincoln, Nebraska and there is this huge ass sculpture a a T-Rex off the side of the road. It is sure realistic and being on the road for the past 7 hours, i was put in a trance and drifted into my other lane and lightly bumped the car of a really old lady (probably in her late 80's) who was asleep and i woke her up. My parents give me so much shit about looking at the dinosaur and that was 2 years ago

I was going 70 listening to Cat Stevens with the window rolled down. Perfect temp and I fell asleep at the wheel. Swerved left off the road and did a 360 in the median. I was really lucky, because the median was fresh, smooth dirt, in preparation for an additional lane or something. I was like......... FUCK.

Last weekend, cruising around with my girlfriend after a movie, decide to try and summit a "mountain" in my truck. The road up this mountain is open spring-fall but for winter its a snowmobile trail, so its not plowed or anything. I threw her in 4-high and was givin' er up the steepest part of the road, start sliding back, stop inches from the six foot high dirt embankment that would have popped a tail light for sure. Luckily I keep a box of recovery gear in the back, grabbed my come-along (hand crank winch) and straightened the truck out, backed down and tried again and made it. When I straightened it out I left the tow strap and clevis on, which came in handy the next night. I was going out to a buddy's house in BFE, came around a corner, hit a patch of pure ice, slid completely around and slammed my ass end into what was essentially a dirt curb. It blew my driver's rear tire off the bead. I ended up being stuck in the snow on the side of the road, random guy driving by pulled me out with my handily attached tow strap and ended up driving on the flat to my buddies house where I threw my spare on... still rocking the undersized rusted out steelie steeze.

So my friend snuck out in his parents car (has his permit) and went to this kid's house for a little kickback where we smoked a few bowls. Then we left the house and went onto this road that sorta winds up into the hills where you can go really fast. So on our way down were going like 80 and we see a car come around the corner and its a cop. Of course he follows us because its like 3 am, so we mob down to gain some distance and turn into this person's driveway and hide as he slowly drives by. We ditched all our paraphernalia out the window :(
