So the focus ring on my 17-40 got grindy out of no where and focus was fucked so I sent it in. Under warranty, fixed for free and all but now that i got it back im not sure its fixed up to standard...
1. When I turn the ring I still can feel slight bumps. not as big as before but still... its not a smooth turn from side to side.
2. I swear the front element of this lens used to move with the focus ring. Can someone confirm this? This is the main reason why Im here. Because my front element isnt budging at all when I focus.
Lastly infinity focus seems to be way before the line. about half way there.
Really just looking for an answer to #2. Hope canon will cover the shipping and insurance since it looks like im sending it in a second time.
