Around this time last year, I thought it would be a good idea to 3 over the terrain park fence. I over shot by quite a bit and my right leg was totally straight when i landed and i felt as if my whole knee was about to pop out. I was able to ski down the hill and call my parents who took me to emergency where they x-rayed my knee and said everything was fine and I might have sprayned it. About a week later i was back on skis and hit a rail and my knee felt like it was about to twist right off. Long story short, I was out almost all season last year and I did physio and bought a $2k knee brace. Physiotherapist said that i wouldn't need surgery and the knee brace would work fine. This year everything was going well until yesterday when I hit a down rail and landed with my right leg straight and popped it again. This was really discouraging because i had thought that my knee brace would work. When i went inside I guess my brace had kind of slipped down my leg not covering the right area which kind of explains it.
Anyone else do something similar?
