i forgot to mention they're 179...well i called k2 but it's impossible to get a human on the phone so i just heard alot of answering machines...the shop i went to is filled with redneck employees who don't really care unless they're makin $$...the guy told me the bindings ripped out cause of the shop that mounted (them) and when i asked if it was there fault he said 'well, um, wait how'd you break the tips?' assholes. sorry for the length, very pissed.

yea I ripped out the heel piece (like a lot of people) , but the guys at the shop replaced the break and heli-coiled the heel back in for free. I haven't had any problems since.
