Hey guys, I have my pass to Brighton, and I recently had my pass stolen out of my car. I called Brighton and they said that there is a $100 dollar replacement fee for the pass. I'm a broke college student and can't afford to buy the replacement for it. Is there anybody on here who works at Brighton and could help me out with getting it replaced for free or just for less? I would be okay with something like 20 or 30 bucks, but I just can't afford the 100 dollars. If there is anybody who can help me out, please let me know. I'd really appreciate it. Thanks and +k.
but for real, brightons replacement pass free is insane. They THINK it will make it so people lose their passes less, but really it just pisses people off when they lose it. Its so easy to lose a card.
hah yeah, i had it locked. i always hang it from my rear view mirror, and i took my car into the shop to get my brakes fixed, and after i got my car back it was gone.
$100?? Jesus. Some places will give you a mulligan/freebie the first time you lose it, but at worst I think it's usually $20/$30. Even Talisker/Canyons and Snowbird don't bend you over that hard. Brighton is such a laid back/chill mtn for the most part, really surprised to hear this.

It costs $100 because brighton doesn't have any ticket scanners. Thus forth the pass cannot really ever be canceled like it would be anywhere with an electronic system. I'm pretty sure because of this they are trying to discourage people from abusing the system by charging a hefty replacement fee.
It's their own damn fault they don't have scanners, we pay just as much for season passes there as you would at a resort that has real scanners... My biggest beef with brighton is that passes cost exactly the same as pretty much any other resort, with a fraction of the infrastructure.
yea they should probably put in the gates so they can look at all of our information on an ipad. they don't even have multi-million dollar lodges. god brighton sucks, why would anyone ski there? there's not even a cobra dogs.
I prefer that it's a more simple resort, it'd just be cool if the pass price reflected it. The day ticket price does and is a good deal relatively, they just fuck the season pass holders.
