Ski Patrol?

Would anyone enjoy a series based off of the Ski Patrol(s)? At mountains like Aspen/Snowmass or maybe Whistler/BC.

I think it'd be interesting, there used to be a ski patrol show but the guys were douchebags and it was in like Wisconsin I think.

They used to film it at Crystal Mt. WA, some of my buddies were on it and it aired on like some major network? Minor claim.

Not sure if would really be that entertaining. Sure, they get to throw bombs (if their hill has an avi control program) and party hard, but besides that, it's not the most exciting job.

I've always thought there's a lot of potential for a ski patrol movie. Something serious, a little heavy, and staying very far away from the historical cheeseball ski/snowboard themed films. Something dealing with serious avalanche rescue, maybe the death of a patroller, family dynamic. I’d write a script if I knew a little more about patrolling. There’s potential here.

no need to write a script, just stick around the patrol for a while. I'm on an all volunteer patrol (it makes a difference) and shit gets heavy, since I joined last year three people have died, though none on the job. I've been to their funerals, they're like my family but with more skiing

There was one a few years ago, basically amounted to them just taking passes of people who were out of control and occasionally bringing people who were injured down.

Honestly I think it would get a bit stale after a few episodes.

Coming from a ski patroller i doubt a lot of places would not want to do this. there is a lot of stuff that goes on day to day that most resorts wouldn't want being filmed.

This, there is way to much fucking about behind the scene's which wouldn't look good for the company but would at least make decent TV.
