Hey guys, my name is Patrick and I'm one of the terrain park/lift ops supervisors at Berkshire East
I know we had some good feedback about the parks last year and some bad feedback, but the fact of the matters is that it was a shitty season and we couldn't get much done due to lack of snow.
This year the mtn hasn't given the parks hardly any budget, and we have tons of features that need attention before we can put them up on the hill (grinding down rust, replacing siding, replacing topsheets, etc)
From what I've noticed; the mountain will only change things when paying customers complain. They will blow it off until we actually receive complaints then they'll put it to the top of the priority list.
WHAT I NEED YOU TO DO:
I'm hoping that if the mountain gets enough emails and phonecalls about the parks, they'll broaden our budget and we'll have a baller park this season! I can only ask for so much from the owners, but it will be YOU who makes the difference this season!
So please either contact berkshire here, call them at 413-339-6617, or email info@berkshireeast.com
Tell your mom, tell your dad, tell your friends, your brother, your sister, your cousin, make everybody contact berkshire east so they will get the idea that we want our parks bigger and better this year! Just mention what you thought of the parks last year, and what will happen if they don't step it up.
I'm creating this thread out of the goodness of my heart, because i KNOW that our younger clientele wants to have the most rails and jumps on the hill as possible. If you could just drop a line to berkshire it would make all our lives a happier place this winter. The projected opening date is DEC 7, so do this ASAP!
Pray for snow,
Patrick
