Where is your safe spot?

Where's your safe spot for your phone when you go skiing? Honestly didn't even searcharbar.. I'm still not completely convinced in the life proof's shockproof ability yet. But I think the best spot for me at least is the torso area.

generally I don't care about my phones. They reside in my pants pocket, or the hip pocket on my jacket.

When you're skiing the safest pocket for anything is the breast pocket. Most coats have media pockets there anyways.

i always bring mine out with me - so easy to lose ski buddies when out on the mountain.

I usually go for the breast pocket, wrapped in a bandana or something. Have smashed a phone by having it in my trouser pocket

inside chest pocket.  Gotta keep it safe, dry and warm to preserve battery life.

I usually wear zip up sweatshirts when I ski so I used to keep my phone in front right pants pocket.
Until I raped it on a box, that is. I had the meanest iPhone shaped bruise...

scenario: skiing in the woods, run into a tree, break your leg. Id sure like to have my phone to call for help.

but we agree with the general consensus, the breast media pocket is the best.

I have an indestructible blackberry. May be lacking in innovation, but I haven't had a more durable phone, so I just keep it in my zippered side pocket. One less thing to worry about.

actually the chest pocket is one of the worst spots for it since when you fall forward you tend to land on your chest. Best place is on either side of your stomach in pockets that zipper shut.

i get maybe if your skiing b/c or whatever and keeping it on you for emergency's, but riding up with kids who are just lapping the park and feel the need to text on the lift is kinda pathetic. But i guess that's just my opinion.

in my vans jacket I keep it in my wrist pocket. Easy access and I never land on it when I fall, which doesnt happen too often. Never worried about it honestly.

yea dont carry it in your pants, had an iphone in my pocket and fell on a rail, smashed the screen. I always do inside chest pocket now, or even better ill put it in my ogio flak jacket if im wearing that.

Yes! Brick phones FTW. Skiing is really the only reason that I don't want a smartphone. That and working underneath cars, rolling around all day, I'd have a screen cracked in about 5 minutes.

I usually just put it in one of the lower two chest pockets. my phone is indestructible so it doesn't really matter.

I work 2 jobs at my hill and often get called by my bosses
sometimes I need to call people for rides
meeting up with friends
in case of injury

as for OP, I just leave mine in my pants pocket. it's not a very safe place but I've fallen on my phones dozens of times and they've never broken somehow. one time I'm pretty sure I sandwiched it between my hip and a rail and didn't even crack it. pants pockets aren't so bad.
