The Feeling After Skiing

galaxia-Slamming some McDonalds McDoubles and McDonalds Coke after on the drive home. Seriously, over and over again, McDonalds after a long day of skiing is the best meal I have ever ate. (ps. someone agree with me that McDons has THE BEST coca cola. I dunno what it is, but it just tastes sooo dang good)

I did want to share though a little history on why Coke is actually better at McDonald's. When McDonald's initially began to expand, they had a unique (fast food) business model and seemed to have all the elements for success except for a beverage supplier. Long story short, in the late 1950's Coca-Cola and McDonald's began a partnership, and often times McDonald's and CC would work in conjunction in terms of expansion and promotion.

There are many reasons the Coca-Cola tastes so great at McDonald’s. We simply follow the guidelines set by Coca-Cola and take steps to ensure it tastes the same as when you buy it in a bottle.

We also keep our fountain beverage system cold so your drink can always be at the peak of refreshing. The most notable bit is that McDeez is a logistical guru and has built up a network to source their Cola fresh from production; generally Cola is delivered in plastic, but for McDeez case it is delivered in stainless steel. One might argue that the partnership was essential for the enduring success each of these companies has exhibited.

Sorry to get off topic but I found it interesting that you pointed out the Cola! for good reason, too. fascinating stuff.
