perfect opening weekend snow was so good! 40 degrees was so nice. much better than cold getting pelted with blowing ice. had 8 features set up at the highlands. def second best opening in the last 5 years. only gets second best bc 4 years ago there was 2 ft of fresh
You riding at Mt. or Highlands? Not going to the Burton party, but I am riding Otsego Club on Saturday. I suggest anyone in the area does the same...I heard a rumor it may be open to the public with 10$ lift tickets Sat/Sun. And by rumor I mean it definitely is.
I know I was letting you know bc showing up to a small hill buying a pass and then having no park would suck! Just thought ud like to know that that may be the case.
i havent been there for 2 weeks...they had 8 features at the highlands and i believe that the mountain had a similar number open. I hope there will be more than that this weekend
From what I hear (from a VERY reliable source), they will have a park, but the 22 foot pipe will no longer be 22 foot. Only time will tell I guess, but I will keep you guys posted. It's great Boyne is getting features up so early! Can't wait to ride next weekend. If you see a guy in all black saga come say what up and take a few laps with me.
Nope, I drive an Escape with a rack and license plate MRKITE
And also a Ford ranger that looks like it rolled onto its passenger side then sat there for 2 hours. I'll be in the ranger.
I'll be wearing Saga creamsicle pants with either a Burton AK jacket or a Saga Creamsicle jacket, riding Icelantic Shamans or Line Sir Francis Bacons. Come say hey boi
for anyone interested, otsego may not open this weekend due to inclement weather. keep an eye on the website if you were planning on going. on a lighter note...up to 20" on the way for the Boyne's. PRAY FOR SNOW.
I was there Yesterday and Thursday. I've never seen so much Lower Peninsula pow ever. I was riding my Chopsticks all day, both days, which I never would have imagined doing in the LP, ever. Getting first chair on 6-for-1 day was pretty nice too. Hope everyone had as much fun as I did.
