Oakley splice lens advice

i just got oakley splices with fire iridium polarized lens.
i know that these lens with be amazing in day time but will i be able to see anything night skiing with these?
if i wont be able to see very well with these fire iridium polarized lens, what would be a better lens for night? hi yellow or clear? and is the hi yellow lens worth the extra 35$?

You wont be able to see well with a fire iridium lens at night obviously.
Clear if its strictly for night skiing, High yellow for night skiing and low light days.

clear for strictly night skiing, hi yellow for night and snowy days. I personally have fire iridium for blue bird and pink iridium for every other condition including night. I find that the hi yellow is really hard on your eyes if the sun starts poking out after snow etc. The pink iridium is a good happy medium and dont regret selling my hi yellow for pink.

The best lens for night would be clear because there's not any add of a color in the lens. You will feel like having no goggles. I have a dark grey lens for day skiing and clear for night and it's perfect.

Fire is AWFUL at night. i tried using it for a little last year and i just ended up using no goggles.

The first time ski ski with the Fire's in any form of shade you will know weather or not you can use them for night (this means no, you would essentially be blind)

I have custom splices and Fire lenses, they are sick, but i also have a pair of elevates w/ h.i. yellow

Get hi yellow because it will also be useful for overcast days and flat light conditions, not just night like the clear lense. I was in the same situation last year and I'm very glad I went with hi yellow.

I prefer the HI Yellow exactly because it adds colour. I think the yellow tint makes it easier to see the shape of the slope.

The HI Yellow helps enhance contrast and makes the texture of the snow pop out more. A lot of people prefer a regular clear lens for night skiing because the lights on the hill reflect through the lens. This will happen with most spherical double lenses, though it's less noticeable with a regular clear lens. It basically comes down to personal preference at this point, but like others have said, the HI Yellow will perform well not just with night skiing, but overcast days as well.
