Boots that last?

I went to a boot fitter and I fit in full tilt's Nordica's and Atomic's. I currently have old Solomons. I usually wear boots for quite a few seasons. How reliable are full tilts. I am willing to pay more for a boot that i can use for 5+ seasons.

i feel like if you take really good care of them, any boot can last 5+ seasons.

this, also depends on replaceable heels and toes. The intuition liner is a great liner, that should last a while, and after that all you have to worry about is the heels and toes.

Any boot is going to soften overtime, and you will be wearing out the soles, the buckles, and packing out the liners. Get a race style boot with rear spine rivets that is stiffer than you typically ski, and take some rivets out. Get the bootwork you need to make it fit well, and then ride them to death, buy new liners when they wear out, put rivets back in when the boot softens...

I have been riding the same pair of Head Raptors for a really long time...

i bought a pair of rental boots for $50 dollars last year just to see if I even enjoyed skiing. I don't want to spend $500 dollars on boots, but can you get rental boots fitted? (Sorry for possible stupid question).

Or something with replaceable rubber soles. I would look into something with highly replaceable buckles too.
