Differences between Thule AeroBlade & Load Bar?

I have had the traditional Thule load bars before and i'm looking into a new set up for a new vehicle. The AeroBlade would probably look a lot sleeker but are there any other huge differences? Anyone have AeroBlade experience?
Thanks

correct me if i'm wrong but I think the aeroblade is supposed to be more aerodynamic. A little more fuel efficient then those big rectangular bars you would normally have. it's a little stiffer structurally, not sure what that does but it is stronger. And thats about it i think

aeroblade looks better than load bar and makes less noise on the road since they are more aerodynamic , they cost more, and most of the time you have to use adapters to fit your bike racks/ski racks etc. Their is no noticable difference in the fuel effiency between both.
hope that helps

Correct, the Aeroblade is more aerodynamic, so much so that they are not supposed to even need the fairings anymore. I don't believe that they make any adapters to fit fairings on the Aeroblades, unless you use a "T" bolt in the channel like you would use to mount your accessories. But then you would have to take the fairing off and reinstall it every time you put a different accessory mount on.

Yeah, i just read you're not supposed to use fairings on the aeroblade.
Thanks for the feedback everyone. Shooting for which ever rack i can get my hands on. Thanks!
