I was playing kick ball about 10 weeks ago, and the ball was a line drive that hit the top of my pinky finger. it took about 5 weeks for the pain to go away and i thought i just jammed it so i did nothing for it. the pain was only about a 5/10 not too bad, but now it just doesn't feel right it's feels very tight and still hurts if you try to bend 100% i can bend it to about 95%. if i did brake it and it didn't heal correctly is there anything a doctor can do to fix it? is there a chance it may need to be rebroken to heal properly? just wondering if anyone else had this happen.
yeah its not that it hurts its the fact the my finger feels tight. I can't really explain it but it is annoying as shit. i would gladly rebrake it to make this feeling go away its like an itch on the inside of my finger that wont go away.
For sure it could have not healed correctly, and the doctor can fix it only by rebraking it. I know because i broke my second to last finger last year tramping, and it was bent as fuck, so the doctor had to put it back in place. I would say though, that you are alright because the finger wouldnt look right. and mine is still about 95% after a year so I dont think you have a problem. If you are really concerned though go get it x rayed.
