If so, dream rig right there.  Diesel Excursion, LT suspension, nice meats, Banks 6-gun and a set of mattrax on a trailer behind it.  Paint the whole shit in bedliner and I'd custom build the nastiest brushguard/safari rack/skidplate set you've ever seen in your fuckin' life.

The brown '83 was mine and my ex's that we built. He and I owned eight or nine Toyotas, including a (diesel) BJ70. Oh, and I'm not a "bro", nor do I have a small penis... Or any penis, for that matter.

V-10 with a Paxton NOVI-2000 9 PSI boost supercharger, 88mm throttle bodies, 3.73 gears, and 4 inch high flow pipes. Sucked gas, but hauled ass. Wish it was diesel though. Would have kept it.

come to albera.. every rig rat has a lifted truck thats murked, with black rims, wheel casings, and tint. Also they do not know how to properly chip a truck so all it does it puff black smoke and burn fuel at a fast rate.

Unfortunately they actually know what theyre doing and they do that on purpose - it's called rolling coal

They pretty much just throw in big injectors/chip in hopes of getting that black smoke aka wasting gas/losing power...its pretty fucking stupid and gives diesel guys a bad name

^^You're my favourite, Dot.

I use my truck for work. It has a 2.5" lift through King Coilovers and OME Dakar springs, not blocks and spacers. This means that the suspension is stronger than stock, not more unstable. I posted these in another thread I believe, but here's why I need a pickup:

Rappel machines and gear...the ballast weights aren't visible.

I moved cords of wood around in the summer with the dump trailer, which probably maxed out the towing capacity. Truck survived though.

Oh and it's really, really fun to wheel it. I'm part of Green Mountain Crawlers and take it out a few days a year to do that. I am mostly a support vehicle though (carrying parts and tools..I also have a compressor and air tank on board) because I haven't done a SAS yet.

Thats exactly what I'm doing. There are alot of good offroading places where I live and I need something to haul my quad and jetski. What kind of truck were you looking at?

thats stupid in my opinion. lifting the truck really kills your towing performance. did you have to lift the trailer too?

besides that nice truck, love my cummins. if you have the 6.7, did you delete it?

Who the fuck wants to tow with a lifted pickup and big offroad tires? unless you are specifically towing stuff on mining/forestry roads. The only thing that 90% of people will use their hitch for is a point to latch a tow rope to.

Lifted truck=/=mall crawler. idiot.
