I have the 2011 red and white hot doggers my issue is that i cant get it tight enough arround the top of the bood i feel like this is because of the liner is soposed to lok like a sock and has extra padding causeing a issue for having enough tention on todan and giving me issues while on the hill

MY quest to every one is
1 has anyone else felt the same

2 would new liners completely fix this ?? i dont want to spend the 90$ unless its a sure thing

you probably have skinny legs like me, and most likely didn't get fitted for a boot. go to a boot fitter and see what they say, you can throw extra padding stuff in there or you might have to change boots

The liner being like a sock means nothing, it's thicker because its the pro (better/warmer) liner. Also, a thicker liner would mean a tighter boot because it takes up more space.

To tighten the top cable more do the following:

Take the back of the boot off (two screws on the side around the ankles), while taking this apart pay attention to where things go, you need to put them back together the same way. The top cable will come with the back of the boot. Look at where that cable is connect to the back, you'll see 3 notches, the cable will most likely be in the middle one, use a flat head screwdriver to pop it out of place, then move it back one notch to shorten it and pop it back into place. Put the boot back together. You'll be able to get the top buckle tighter now.

I had this problem about 2 years ago when I was a pk an 15. I am really skinny, so i had it as tight as it could go on every buckle and it was a little loose. I dealt with it for a year and then it was better the next.

1. i hope you are/were on mobile or are really drunk or something

2. that's what happens when you pick a boot a pro wears just because they wear it. probably won't fit you right. you're also always going to sacrifice performance when you pick a boot just for comfort, which i assume was the 5% of your decision in buying them that wasn't related to wanting them because wallisch wears them.

3. go to a bootfitter. you can't possibly fix these kinds of things over the internet with just words.

For anyone reading this that is thinking of getting new boots for the season: Don't get full tilts. My local shop said they had so many problems last year with people needing refittings etc that they completely stopped selling them this season. That was also only the first season they sold them.

2 I actually bought them because they didn't have the classics in my size and i was heading to colorado on a big week long trip with boot that where to tight from the season before
3 I am going to have to weight on the boot fitter till im home from college but im gunna try to adjust the cable length in the meantime

I had a similar problem and the shop where i bought them from replaced the cables with shorter ones on the bottom and middle and tightened down the top cable.

Worse boots i ever owned, just shit, didnt fit right after they were fitted, buckles and tracks broke, didnt feel good to ski on at all, just terrible, sold them as fast as i could

all boots have different internal dimensions that will work for certain people.. its not full tilt or the boot fitter thats the it is most likely that full tilt dimensions dont fit your foot

You saying that a given boot is 'just shit' because they 'didn't fit right' is absolutely ridiculous. They probably didn't feel good to ski in because they didn't fit you, not because they were shitty boots. Please put at least A LITTLE thought into a post before you throw another piece of idiocy into gear talk.

What do you sugest for boots if you do not like full tilt? because i have had the least bit of trouble with the FT as i have had with the 2 pairs of SPK, TECNICA AGENTS, AND Langs?

This is most likely due to poor boot fitting in the purchase process and the lack of balls for sales people to tell kids that FT will not fit there feet as well as another pair of boots.

I will agree that allot of kids get FT cause its the hep thing to do. Not usually the right one.

FT fit me perfectly. If I had a different shaped foot/leg I would need a different boot.

dont blame the boot. blame the customer or the shitty boot fitter.
