NOTE: Vimeo shifted the audio slightly so the landings and what not do not match up to perfection, but very close! If anyone knows why that happens and has a solution please tell me!

yah i thought the same, i decided i wanted that aspect ratio after i shot the shots, so they got cropped in the process, +k

wasn't too bad. I really wouldn't recommend shooting on the 2.35.1 aspect ratio, especially if you didn't intend on doing so in the first place. You need to pay attention to your composition if you want to shoot cinematically

Overal it was good. I liked at the beginning when you added tilted shots it really flowed with song and its dark feel with references to alcohol. Th only thing i would work on is your grading. It seemed like you tried to do some grading but in the process it seems like you lost overall sharpens and quality of the shots. But this could be your glass or some export settings as well not just your grading. Well any way good work!

yah i thought on some shots it cut to much, i need to adjust my shots for that,

On magic lantern there is a download you can get for a 2.35.1 aspect ratio that can show up on your screen and if anyone knows please tell me how to do that!

the shots were pretty nice for the most part
shouldn't have used the crop
the song was alright, didn't fit well imo

the cropmarks should be built in in ml

all good points, and true

but i think you should ask yourself why should i be shooting in 2.35.1 versus 16.9? are there any advantage in shooting that way that can benefit from it?
