The 930 club

Washington D.C. Has any one been to a show there? I'm going to see of monsters and men there tonight. It's a sold out show and the doors open at 7 and opening acts start at 730. I was just curious how early I should get there if i wanna get a good spot. Think there will be a line outside the doors? Thanks for any help.

yes, there will be a line. you won't be the first one there, and a lot of people go to concerts as early as an hour before doors.

disclaimer: I've never been to The 930 Club, I'm just basing this off of past experience of going to shows.

lol that sucks. dc blows. and so does the 930 club.


but that being said...
if its a 730 show youl probably want to get there around 830-930. the openers take for ever and main acts tend not to start playing until well after 1030 at the 930 club. also you shouldnt have a problem getting close. most ppl at the venue are old and want their space in the back or up top.

Be careful. I've heard nothing but bad shit about that venue. Haven't actually made it there yet but I've heard from several different people that they take shit seriously there.


Supposedly way worse than even the HOB boston.

I guess just don't do anything stupid, and if you do anything, be careful. I guess they'll toss you out of there for anything and maybe worse.

Be safe, have fun. Post how everything is. Always down for new perspective.

Soo my friends cousin is in the band and thats how we got tickets but he also got us VIP passes which was unexpected. So we sat in the vip section away from the majority of the people. It was a great show. The venue was alright. Nothing special. and I did see that massive dude with the massive gauges. He was working security at the entrance. But yeah, i had a great time.
