Volkl Bridge or Moment PBJ

Which one should I go with. They seem like a similar ski in most ways and I would appreciate someone that could point me in the right direction. Im looking for an all mountain that can perform well for a mostly east coast skiier. Im 6ft 3 and around 180 - 185. I keep coming back to the two when shopping but im also open to other suggestions.

I was torn between Line blends and some PBJ's last year and a deal came up on some blends so I jumped on them and they've been an awesome ski, very fun in all conditions. Cant speak for the bridge or pbj but I'm very happy with the blends

i think you would be happy with the blends. My buddy switched from his moments to the volkls and said the volkls are the best.

blends are looking pretty good, the moments would be hard to get my hands on since there are no dealers around for them but i read the blends feel pretty soft compared to the bridge.

I rode on the bridge two days ago for demo days at sunday river. Conditions were spring like with ice in the middle of the trails. The bridge is a stiff ski but its worth it for that ski. It gripped ice incredibly well for a rockered ski. Now i'm not a fan of rockerd skis but god damn volkl made rocker actually feel good. It didn't get squirrely at speed and doesn't have that weird turn initiation most rocker skis have. The bridge also blasted through all the crud and mushy moguls. I loved the bridge and if I had money I would put this in my quiver as a everyday all mountain ski.

I have now skied 70+ days on the PB&J and I cannot say enough on how well they handle themselves on the mountain. they are stable on hard pack love crud float where you want em too and yet i still have no problems whipping them around in the park. they are as close to perfect as a one ski quiver I ridden with the Fatypus L toro as a close second.

Of course it would be an easy decision if you could demo both but it is hard to find Moment skis in a demo fleet.

I personally have skied both and I own the PB&J. It has been a while since I skied them so I cant give the Volkls the proper credit cause its hard to remember all the nuances. From what I do remember they were stable at speed, solid in crud and so so in pow. They didnt blow me away or I would probably remember more about them. Seems like they had that typical GS tail found in most of the Volkl line up which I dont really care for. Sorry this review sucks but I have been on so many skis its hard to keep track.

The PB&J's are SICK. I wont go into too much detail because Blister already wrote the perfect review. So go check out the Blister Gear Review if you haven't already. As usual Blister is spot on! If I had to have a one ski quiver I'd pick the PB&J hands down. They do everything very well from POW to Park. They have about a 7/10 flex and charge through crud. Also, the guys at Moment are great and its good to support what they are doing. At your height and weight definitely go with the 188's.
