Replying to Skis for my mom

So, I decided for Christmas this year, I'm going to buy my mom a new pair of skis. I decided I want to get her K2 missdemeanor, with her venturing out west every once in a while, and her love of steeps and pow. She also would need groomer performance. And I'm trying to find a binding, and I found some axial2 XXL with the right brake size, basically, I'm wondering if this would be an Ok setup, and if the bindings will be a good fit with the skis.
