Ive been looking at the Norwalks in 189 for this season but since I live in the UK riding a demo set on a decent hill isnt going to happen, so has anyone used them in decent conditions yet?
Ive been looking at the 189's as im 6'5 and 15 stone and a very aggressive skier, I had a set of Fischer Watea 84's last season and want to have something that can deal with the curd, wind blown and deeper pow a bit better.
Not flat, just no tail rocker. Also the tail isn't tapered. I've heard it has a longer turning radius than the jj as well but I'm not sure on the exact measurement
Imperial is so stupid. Metric is where it's at. /rant
Norwalks are a beefed up TST. They ski very similarly but float more due to the wider waist. Depends what you want it for. A TST can be your everyday ski whereas a Norwalk is more a pow/chow/crud/chud day ski.
Thanks, its been hard to find anyone whos skied them as obviously they are a new ski for this season, I would have considered the TST but I have Liberty Morphics as my inbounds / resort ski mounted with jester fanatics so they do everything on the piste / park, I just wanted something for all the other conditions that can still deal with groomers and chopped up mush too as I tend to get 4 weeks in across the season.
They can blow through anything. If you are an off piste charger go with those, but if you like to ski on the groomers more but still skis powder then go with the tst.
