The Media is hurting America

Especially now. It seems to me that the media lives off of conflict and bad news, simply because it is what people are interested in. Media also seems to blow things out of porportions and exaggerate to make the viewer want to read thier more interesting story. But the fact is, that during such a close and decided election, all the media is doing now is simply dividing the country even more by playing up all of the political stories. All the media is doing right now is just further polarizing America. I know that we all just can't stop watching the news and ignoring the headlines, but as long as you realize that conflict is what makes money in the world of news, not the absolute truth, then you'll at least start taking what the media says with a grain of salt.

Agreed. Their sole purpose is to turn a profit, not to mention all the agenda based axe grinding on the side. That is why we all must be skeptics
