Skis for my girlfriend?

My girlfriend's birthday is coming up, and her parents and I are getting her new skis. I just asked her some questions on facebook casually...
skill level: 7/10
skier type: all mountain, mostly groomers; "but i do like that powder snow"..i would say 50% just plain groomer, 45 percent all mountain, 5 percent park, if thats even possible
price range: not too expensive, but none really
andd i want her to get a twin tip even though she doesn't really care/need it, it just is so much better in my opinion

suggestions? thanks guys!

K2 misdemeanors. 90 waist with tip rocker so it more forgiving and its a ski that she can progress with. k2s are a bomber ski that last forever.

Maybe to expensive but I love my k2 MissDirected, they're good on groomed runs, GREAT in powder and meh in park.


The line celebrity is a great ski too for chicks, super light and is is good for all around skiing.
Actually really great on groomed runs and park.

You can't go wrong with any of the k2s. I would choose between the misconducts and the empresses. I see the wider skis as a waste of width. She seems like a super causal skier. You didn't say much about her but groomers get the most of her attention. That's where you should put the most attention deciding on a ski for her. Either the misconduct and empresses will hold up on any terrain you throw at it. She'd be able to ski either of those skis anywhere but she'll have the best time on an 85mm waist.

If she skis at wildcat then this ski is perfect for her. Its a great ski. Fun in the park, great on groomers, not that bad on powder, and good for trees. "wicked" good eastern ski. This was my first twin tip ski and it was sooooo fun to ski on and well priced.

BTW its dumping snow at the cat right now.

There not twin tips but K2 makes the luv series, sweet luv, burnin luv and some a few others. I got my GF the sweet luv's a few years ago and she loves 'em. Just another option. Good luck but their never happy :)
