I did a test of ramped slow-mo in FCPX with a short clip I had from the skateplaza. I was messing around with letterboxing as well. I trimmed it to a 2.35:1 aspect ratio. What do you guys think of these clips? One is the letterboxed version and one is the version without letterboxing. I kinda dig the style of the letterboxing, but I feel as though it may be cheesy. I understand that head/board clipping of the subject is an issue.
