I am needing some new skis for this year and have been thinking about the line blends. I want something that will perform well in the powder but i can still take in the park. Any sugestions?
It's a rocker camber ski, 140 tip, 105 underfoot, 130 tail, it rips forward and backward, can slay hardpack, packed powder, and the deep stuff. Plus, Leigh Powis did his entire urban segment in this year's PBP on that ski.
Blends are sick. I got them towards the end of the season in Utah knowing I'd be on the east the following year. They were great in 3 ft of fresh as well as in the park and rest of the mountain back east. And this years graphics are sweet as shit.
But no seriously, I'd consider K2 Kung Fujas. 133 tip, 102 underfoot, 127 tail. It's a great pow ski but is nimble/stable enough for the park. Rips all mountain. Really a perfect all-around ski.
95-105mm underfoot, some sort of rocker, choose your manufacturer... they all make something like that. I've heard nothing but good things about the blends though.
