I was looking at buying a POC online and don't have time to try it on in stores. How do POC sizings run (smaller, bigger...) and I want to run it without ear pads and with a beanie and goggles underneath, what size should I get if my head is about 23in around without a beanie or goggles?

I recently ordered both the medium and the large from evo, and I figured out that they are actually the exact same size shell (yes, I measured) the only difference is the thickness of the padding. So if you are planning on pulling the padding out anyway, it wont matter what size you get.
PS: the shell is slightly narrower than other helmets ive worn
