URGENT: SIGN AND SHARE
A bill proposing that gay and lesbian Ugandans be executed is coming back to Uganda's Parliament - it could pass at any moment.

President Museveni once promised that he would not sign this bill into law. With pressure mounting on him to support the bill, only a massive global outcry - along with our friends in Uganda - will make him keep his promise.

Last year, we helped stop this bill in its tracks. We need to do it again.

At the end of the day, if people sign it, it may do some good. It might not, but it might.

If you don't sign it, then it definitely wont do any good.

hey its their laws and their culture, why interfere. if people cant follow the rules (whatever those rules might be) then they get punished. thats how the world works.

its just as unfair here. i have a compulsive and uncontrollable urge to murder people but i suppress my feelings because thats what society tells me to do.

Forgot that in the old translation they referred to fig trees as the trees of life. If you cut down a forest in that area fig, trees are the first to spring back up hence the nickname.
