while I absolutely despise this piece of shit, there's no way he'll do any time. assuming he's a first time offender...he'll pay a fine, serve some community service, and be on probation for a couple of years.

they should have beat his ass to teach him a little more of a lesson.

kids who steal are fucked up. i was at big boulder last year and some kids were looking for their boards in the parking lot, they walk up to me and ask if i saw their boards said no and they moved on. next thing i know theres an sti with 2 kids hanging off the doors trying to grab the driver. driver gets away but has to pass by again. the 500 dollars for the board was not worth it for the thief when the kids threw 5 or 6 rocks into the door/window/everything.

I was with my friend Brendan at Mount Snow and we came out of the lodge and just poles were stolen. Two hours later we see our friend Sal with his poles and Brendan goes yo what the fuck you doing with my polls Sal goes I saw them and I wanted to use them. I still laugh about it

What the fuck is wrong with people these days... so early in the season and shit is gettin jacked left and right. I work at a certain summit county resort restaraunt on the mountain and some guy was fucked up on bath salts or somthin and got caught trying to steal a snowboard.... by running straight through the restaraunt screaming and yelling with the board in hand. Needless to say that dude got laid the fuck out and the board was returned.

Last season a mysterious pair of fischer/monster poles showed up at my house after we had a bunch of people over sesh our backyard setup. They were there for like 2 months and nobody claimed them so when I broke mine i started using them. A few days later Richie Paradise came up to me on Nitro and called me out for stealing his poles. I felt like an idiot when I told him "Dude they just like showed up at my house a couple months ago". Oh well.

Morally, and perhaps legally, I'm not a lawyer, there is no difference between these two things, it's both stealing. But yet you guys are ready to take a dick from people that poach, and you wan't to exert street justice on someone who steals skis and snowboards. That is just plain stupid, and you guys should try and get your shit straight, and get some sort of consistency in your arguments. Fucking morons.

He's lost his job I'm sure, he probably lost his pass... he is facing a felony.. so he might not go to jail.. but he'll probably have some sort of fucking shitty punishment. How doessomeone else riding a lift without a pass compare to them stealing my entire setup, plus that of several others. Considering an entire season pass is worth roughly half of a skis/bindings. Oh and at least when someone else poaches, you still-get to shred. When someone steals your shit. You be fucked

I'll keep it short: how about if you think its not a big deal stealing gear, go do it yourself and see what happens when someone with the same respect for their own belongings as me catches you.
