Looking to get a new pair of binding because my currently ones have seen a bit of action. Does anyone know whether I will just be able to swap a FKS/Pivot binding in for my current PX Jibs?
Heli coil the toes and use the same holes. The hole patterns for the heels are so different you won't have any problems putting new holes in for fks from px. I would heli coil the heels to if you're having problems with tear outs
Are you sure? These have been drilled for the original mount, and moved forward 2cm after a tear out? I don't even know if the holes have been plugged. This might be a completely noob question but what is hellying?
its a threaded insert that goes into the ski. you then screw the bindings into the inserts. like a snowboard.
px12 heels are a big rectangle mount where as fks are like a little square shape i think. you might be good even with moving the px up 2cm because the fks holes are so close together
ive never had fks so my info on their mounting pattern might be inaccurate but i think thats right
Thanks for the advice, I've found some on ebay, so if they're going pretty cheap I'll probably just get them either way. Would be good to hang on to them for the next time I replace my skis.
