So I'm just getting into skiing again.. I have probably skied 10 times in my life with the last time about 4 yrs ago. I have a pair of k2 Public Enemies that are 169. I am 6'2 205. Are these too short or ok to get started with?
Yep. And if you are committed to skiing for a few years then yes invest in another pair. But if you still aren't sure then there is nothing wrong with riding your shorter skis for a bit.
Like Zenmaster said, that'd be my minimum if I was you. I ski 182 park skis, and I'm 5'11, 165 lbs.
But for sure if you're not sure if you'll keep skiing, invest in a less expensive pair, or perhaps try it out on your short skis for a while. That's all you, though.
Some affordable park skis would be Surface blanks, if you're looking to give bigger skis a try, without breaking the bank.
