Hello Newschoolers,
I am currently looking for a new allround ski that can ski it all.
Here are some facts:
- 6'1, 191 lbs.
- used to ski race FIS GS and SL and I ski powder and all kinds of terrain since I was 8 years old.
- I ski in the european Alps.
- I own a Hellbent from 07/08 in 179 (185) which I find a bit too big and far too heavy.
- I skied the Bacons last year and loved them, but right now they are out of my price range.
I am currently looking at the Atomic Blog which I could get for 419€ including Marker Griffons.
The ski seems about right for me, although I fear it might be too heavy. I really liked the weight of the Bacons which is about 2kg for a pair. Can anyone tell me how the Blog compares?
For anyone that owns one: Can you tell me how well he handles old and chopped snow as well as normal carving on the slopes. Is it possible to take a few runs in the park (norhing to crazy)?
Thanks!
