lol couple of weeks to break the ice? why dont you just sit down next to her and first thing you say is "im going to cheat off of you this semester" and smile. ice broken. ask for her name, make convo, maybe in a couple of days get her number. also, if youre going up to random girls, what i found works is if you basically go
you: hi, youre really cute and i had to come over to you and say hi. do you know what speed dating is?
her: yes
you: name a bunch of things you like and try to be funny about it. then tell her its her turn
her: if she freezes up and is like i dunno what to say, ask her things about her or something
just have fun with it man, be confident and take initiative and after a couple minutes of conversation, ask her for her number. you probably wont get every girl you try, but more often than not girls like it when guys come up to them randomly because so few guys actually have the balls to do it.

Again only do this is you have no experience getting girls and are a sackless guy who cant initiate conversation with a girl easily.

However I say wait a week or 2 because then it shows you aren't desperate. You are casual and girls who are hot know dudes want em. If you play it cool and dont talk to her shes gonna be like why isnt he talking to me? wtf is going on... everyone talks to me.. Then when you finally do shes all stoked and shit.

Being interesting actually helps too. No girl is going to hook up with you out if pity and if she does than poor her and poor you. I find that most dudes who have trouble with women don't really like themselves secretly, and if that's true for you than you should probably start figuring out why your the fucking man.

Well, on concert nights my friend and I sell parking spots in his dad's restaurant's lot for the people who need a close spot and have nowhere to park. Last Friday we did this. We left the "Reserved for Chophouse" Metal sign up, and were telling people, "we're not supposed to let anybody park here, but give us 20 bucks and a fake name and well cross ya off and let you in." We sell a lot of spots. Anywhoo, we had a van of girls pull up, all smoking hot(it was a country concert and the traffic tends to be a bit better for the women) and we said "Alright, give us 10 bucks and a fake name or your real number." Got the 10 bucks and their numbers. I felt it was pretty solid. They were also offering to give us blowjobs for parking spots.

sounds more like a excuse then anything, if she's cute i try to get her number. After that i give it a chance meet up with her again in person. sometimes she chill and i have fun other times i have left early other times i don't get her number, but you always try.

no, where i live we have like a shitton of cafés/bars next to each other, we saw the girl in a bar early that night and later on hopped to another bar, that's when he got his first text and claimed it .The rest of the night i saw him texting a lot when suddenly he disappeared, so we put a and b together .....

for reference i live in leuven, Belgium, the place we were is 'de oude mark' it holds the record for the longest 'chain' of pubs lying right next to eachother ..
which is like 40-50 pubs together in one square ...

have done this before, or a reverse version where I say something like

"I'm heading out so can I text you or something if you want to continue talking" any variation of that kind of works, used it on friday as a matter of fact.

Also if she has an iphone or a smart phone and playing a game or whatever in class, ask if you can play, then go to the reminders and set it for "text this number _______" after school hours or evening time, has worked as well.
