Also, sadly there will be no ski street comp this year once again. Which in my opinion is pretty fucked up. It would be pretty fucking awesome to have an all-star rail jam with a legit prize.


Anyone know if there will be a Ski Real Street Film comp?

To me this looks like they just took most the top finishers from comps last year and invited them first... yeah, i think thats it. That would explain the lack of sammy and henrik in slope

They are doing the Real Snow film comp for skiers this year, but sadly no Real Street. There has been some speculation that Real Street will happen for skiers in 2014. Sooner or later we need to get the NS community behind this movement so X Games knows how badly we want to see skiers competing in Real Street. Shit would be insane.

Yes... but there are 2 different street contests, the one they had on the mountain and the one where they go out and film parts in the streets.

Are they having this for skiers? :

I hope they invite more underground urban skiers for the Real Street. Not just Tom, Sammy, Martini ext. Would be sick to see Cam, Ahmet, Clayton, P White, Powis and that kind of riders. I have my doubt´s that is going to happen though

Well "x games street comp" could easily mean real street or the rail jam, but I learned how to read and found my answer in the original article.

henrik always throws down so he'll be in for sure and now that bdog can dub i'm sure he'll have a bit more contending power, especially if they judge rails a bit more equally this time which i feel they've been working towards.

Ahh, I understand now. I was thinking that "Real Snow" was referring to the backcountry film contest that they had for x games europe, but I guess that "Real Snow" is the urban film contest and "real street" is the on mountain rail jam.

real snow backcountry is happening for skier.

real snow street consists of a rail jam and video contest, neither of which will be happening for skiers to my knowledge.
