Every so often I will go off-piste and ski all-mountin, but I mostly reside in the park, I have two pairs of bindings the rossignol Fks 140's and the Marker griffons. Which ones are better for park, being true center?
Between the griffons and 140s, I would probably go with the 140s, because they have arguably the safest release system out, and the metal heel. Griffons aren't bad (I ride them), but 140s are better for sure.
The only thing is, fks can be a pain if you are hiking, because the heel piece spins around all the time and is awkward to click out of. So unless you think that will annoy you a lot, then I would go with the 140s IMHO. Also beware that if you bust a break on an fks, you have to take the binding off of the ski to replace it.
I also have centremounted recoils, but with griffons.
