so after watching the logan imlach jib section from sunny, i was thinking about how it was shot in the same way as the intro from long story short (with the marble and dominoes and all that). does anyone know if they got that to work all at once? or did they shoot each part separately? i know it's a pretty specific question but if anyone would know it would be here

It was all shot separately over about 7 days, and they edited it to make it seem like a single run. Very similar to JP's All.I.Can seg. In fact, that's where Logan said he got the inspiration to do it. He spray painted "thank you JP" on the wall in the beginning too.

Someone should do one where they actually do the line, that would be cool. JP and Logans didnt even try to look like one shot, and if they did they failed miserably haha

Logan claims that its all one line. Other then the jump back into the building.

i was pretty sure logans was separate shots just because of how slow he moved on the flats. but i thought jps was one shot, i guess i just haven't seen it for awhile

it was all one continuous line through the building, just wasn't feasible to shoot it as such with 1 camera. i would have loved to do it continuous with a cable cam setup or something but unfortunately we aren't that high tech, we shot that thing with a 7d, gorilla pod, and lego traintrack dolly.
