Bmx filming

So tomorow i'm going to a skatepark with these two guy who want me to film but i have no experience filming bmx but i can film skateboarding. Is it the same thing or do you need to do things differently? +k for help

I'd think the biggest difference is that the BMX guys are generally moving faster than skaters, and thus just traveling around the park more.

I would say its similar to filming skateboarding your probably going to film some lines. So a fisheye/wide angle would be helpful as well as a skateboard. Your probably going to want to have some tripod shots as well and maybe even some glidecam type shots. Here is some great inspiration for shooting styles from a very good bmx filmmaker! Hope this helps!
