Just got a blu ray copy in the mail- watched it, then rewatched it...
holy shit- the segments in this movie are insane. it is the best ski movie i have ever seen. i dont know if anyone else felt this way watching it, but it was hands down the most incredible ski movie i have ever watched. ive seen a fair amount of MSP's movies and i watch alot of other ones but god damn Superheroes of Stoke is legendary- please tell me someone else saw it

It really was amazing. I think the soundtrack sucked except for a few songs which they killed it on. However, the skiing was absolutely incredible and inspiring and they did a great job of presenting a lot of big mountain without making it boring. The premise of the movie really added to the overall quality rather than take away from it. I loved loved loved the flashbacks. It had a great blend of serious ski porn, non-serious tom-foolery, and inspiring, emotional segments. The segment featuring all of the skiers that we have lost is THE most moving segment I've witnessed.

Yeah i think MSP is a little underrated on this site. The movie was so fucking good this year. Blew the L1 and PBP movies out of the water. Great soundtrack, fabulous skiing, and tells a great story. Defiantly reccomend.

Hoji put on the most ridiculous display of skiing in a long time given the context. Imagine if he'd had a full year of that.

Was also super pumped on Michelle getting the part she's deserved for a while.

But the standout is Permin who is psychotic. Performance of the year for me hands down.

Okay I just watched it. Definitely awesome. Better than Attack of La Nina but maybe not The Way I See It. The last 5 or 6 segments were all amazing.

In my personal Top 3, right up there with Act Natural and Sunny. I saw all three in Bozeman and Super Heros Of Stoke got me so stoked!!! The premier was so rowdy, when Paper Planes by M.I.A came on the whole crowd went crazy the song seemed so appropriate and not to mention the Hoji comeback segment is amazing!!! I have actually seen it in theaters twice now

Also Permin has been killing it the past couple years in films, he reminds me of that epic foreign exchange student that no knows where the hell he came from but everyone just falls in love with the crazy fucker.

I already watched sunny and was kinda disappointing. Attack of la nina was crazy good and ive been waiting for SoS to come out on itunes since september

Man... I got all the way to the Itunes purchase page and just couldn't click the buy button. I just cannot bring myself to give MSP my hard-earned money. This is a good movie but I've maintained this principled opposition to funding these people for a decade.

I guess maybe I'll just borrow it from somebody, I don't know.
