Hey guys I've decided that I want to get a pair of line chronics. I am 6 ft. 220 lbs intermediate - expert skier. What size should I get? And where should I mount them? I'm about 50/50 allmountain/park Thanks!

I would say 185, mounting wise if you don't have a preference go recommended. Id say maybe +2 from recommended

Thanks man, all the shops in my area and line itself recommended 178... So I'm just confused on what I should get, I feel like the 178 would be a lil bit short, but idk if the 185 would be too long

I'm 5'8-9ish and around 135 pounds and I ride the 178. Get the 185, they come up short.

Mine are at true centre. For 50/50 I would still go true centre, I'm used to a centre mount so I know it's what I like best. Depends what you mean by all mountain really. If you're talking skiing groomers, jibbing around, lots of switch etc, I'd still go at centre. Biggest reason for -2cm is if you expect to ski a bunch of pow on them, then being back really helps.

I've never centered before, I've always been at like -4

i'd just go -2cm then. Go with recommended if that's your gut but I wouldn't want to be at -4 with 50% park personally, that's for sure.

Yeah 2 back is what I'm gonna do, how much shorter will they feel with the early rise?

Measured with a straight tape, my 178s are actually 175cm long. I would guess that makes the 185s around 182cm. The early rise makes a difference to turn initiation, but on edge they still have the full effective edge. I suppose with the fact they measure short and have some early rise, I'd say they ski 5cm shorter than the stated length (I.e 178s ski like a 173 etc). It's a hard thing to quantify though.

Well then that makes it perfect haha, I thought that 185 sounded a lil bit long for park but the fact that they are a lil bit shorter is great, thanks for all the help man +K!
All times are Eastern (-5)
