2. No, it wouldn't, because it's an online popularity contest. The only person of the four people left who even has a remote claim to being there is P White. And he's there because he's a level 1 skier. The demographic who votes for this stuff on Freeskier is not the kind of demographic who would ever vote Candide into 1st because his video part was better. If that were the case, Richard Permin and Todd Ligare wouldn't have been out in the first round, because their stuff was obviously better than Casabon's and TYW's.
I reiterate my "This contest is stupid" comments. 16 year olds will vote for Tom, Henrik and Phil every year regardless, it really doesn't matter what skiing happens in the interim by them or by anyone else and it certainly doesn't matter what videos are widely screened in what areas.
