Okemo Park

Anyone who has been to Okemo this week or last weekend how was it? What features did they have set up?

The first is a about a 15' slight down rail, the second is two 8' boxes that create a down-flat box (about a foot wide), and the last is a 10' flat rail. It is nothing serious but a good way to ease back into things.

Okemo or Stratton both fucking blow. Both are so flat you might as well stick to nordic.

Please go to a real mountain Okemo sucks I'd be embarrassed to admit I ski there.

for real dude? I skied okemo all last season, and although it was arguably the worst season the east has ever had Okemo was still a fucking blast.
The top to bottom nor' easter park is sick, and so easy to lap with the quad.

I went to Okemo last year for a weekend and I loved lapping nor' easter. It was so nice and fun, I don't really know how people couldn't like it.

It really isn't a park, they just put some features down the right hand side of of Sapphire. On Sunday it was a 12' slight down with donkey, a 12' flat, a 24' down flat box (three 8' boxes together), a tiny 6' cannon, a 12' flat, a 25' flat up, and an olley on 15' tube. The main problem is regular skier traffic, you are sharing the trail with a bunch of people who do not know to stay away the features if they are not using them.

The mountain made this awful edit, which gives you a look at some of the features.

the flat up rail is fucking money. I loved that and the up flat up setup last year.
