After a not so bad crash, i find that a metal tab on my brakes is bent and now it wont seat properly. Any idea on how to fix this? And taking it to a shop for them to tell me to buy new brakes is not an option.
Which part is bent its hard to tell from the photo, is it the tab on the brake its self, or is it the part on the base plate its self where the brake tab goes into? You may be able to straighten them with a set of pillars, but be carfull you dont snap it off. Hopefully you can get it to fit again, but if not a new set of breaks wont be too expensive for those bindings.
Ok, so just grab it with a set of pillars and attempt to straighten it, Do it gradually though, or you will snap it off. If you struggle, take it to a shop and hopefully they can do it for you. If not then hopefully they can sell you one brake which should be $25.
