BMW E46 Window Regulator problem/question

What's going on guys, i've got a quick question for anyone out there who has experienced a similar problem to me.

Last night i was on my way home from a buddies house and i rolled down all four windows in my BMW 330i to air it out, when i went to put them back up all of them went up besides the rear passenger side door, instead that one got stuck half way down. I tried pushing it up and down on the switch a couple more times and it ended up falling right down into the casing itself. Now, when i try to roll it up you can hear the motor inside spinning (sounds similar to broken window fragments being pushed around, but the window itself is completely fine). i'm not an E46 fanatic and i'm not really interested in paying 300 dollars after service fees for a new regulator, which yes that it what the problem seems to be, according to bimmerfest forums this is a common problem with BMW.

So instead i'm looking for a temporary fix just to get the window up for now. ANYBODY with some knowledge about BMW have a suggestion?

DAMN EUROPEAN CARS :(

take the panel off the door and rig that fucker up with a coat hanger.  did this with a maxima years ago

-I would recommend you plasti dip the whole window and just pretend it never worked before.

didnt really read it all, but window motors are really easy to replace youre self for 50$ and save the few hundred a shop would charge,

so buy a set of tools and fix it yourself. you take your car to get fixed on by a bunch of people that probably didnt graduate high school so I am sure if you take your time and look up how to fix whatever problem you have you could figure it out. Obviously building an engine or an engine swap would take some extra tools and more knowledge but still very doable.

It's all there for him in my last post, shouldn't cost him more then 38$ +tax to fix, all the tools needed are basic. It would be a different story if your doing an M50S50 engine swap no doubt

Shit mobile. Anyways, I took it to a dealership where I worked after fighting it for a good long while with no answers from the Internet, and even they hadn't a clue. Finally got some service info and vacuum diagrams and was able to diagnose and fix it myself...

So yes it was a dumb place to post it, but seriously, specific forums aren't even the place for a full diagnosis. Your best bet to get any help from an NS member is to get a hold of Tronned, super knowledgable guy on Porsche and other European makes.

Hit/Kick that fuckin door. Idk about your fancy new beamer but on older cars, the window motor would get stuck... just hit the the thing and it could possibly free up.
