That's pretty much what all techs use, a chart similar to this, but possibly brand specific.
Kinda off topic, but how much should a binding mount cost? The local shop that is big with the locals is charging $45. It seems a bit ridiculous for a 10 minutes job. I think I might just do it myself.
make sure you know what youre doing first. there is some site that has a tooonnnn of binding patterns, for almost all bindings. it has been posted here before.
if there is 1 thing you should go to a shop for its binding mounts. the jigs make is super easy for them and if you dont have one its pretty difficult.
its worth the money. if you dont spend it you could snap a ski. break a binding. like what happened to you
Last time I let the shop set my din they set it at like a 5, first Nollie I doubled e'd onto my face. Anyways at first let the shop do and dial it in to your needs.
i was always bewildered by how my taller friends would have it at like 6 or 7 and not feel the need to change it. i always felt like i was gonna pop out and die just standing still and pressing with my din that low
