Punx vs FR's vs Jib TW

Those are 3 very different skis. A soft/midstiff-symmetrical-cambered ski, a midstiff/soft-symmetrical-rockered ski, and a stiff-cambered-directional ski.

Punx - I consider them to be soft, because of their hing points, but they could also be considered mid-stiff. Known to be fairly durable, but there have been issues with them. Lightweight, low swing-weight.

FR - Mid-stiff underfoot, but the rocker gives them a soft/forgiving feel in the tip and tail. Very durable and reliable. Pretty light (not as light as the Punx, but still fairly light), low-swing weight. An extremely fun ski (in my opinion, they're overall the best park ski on the market right now)

TW Jib - Fairly stiff overall flex. Scott doesn't have the best reputation for durability, but this is a brand new ski, so who knows. Lightweight (somewhere between the Punx and FR), swing weight won't be as low as the Punx and FR (symmetrical skis always have lower swing-weight because their construction is balanced on both tip and tail).


The best bang for your buck is the FR...but they are the most expensive (that being said, they will also most likely last you the longest). I'd put the Punx in second, then the TW Jib in 3rd (mostly because I've seen a lot of people have problems with Scott skis before).
